Good morning, Shari,

It would take more time than I have this morning to elaborate. I kind

of used all of it in my reply to Beth since I go through the posts

chronologically. If you'll check out my blog, you'll get my story.

I was a member of Roger's free forum http://rogerhaeske.com/talk/

index.php?board=3.0 from June 21, 2005, (one day after I started

transitioning) until I decided that I would migrate to the private

forum on July 31. I could have stayed on the free forum from now on

but the private one has so much more to offer. Not only the forum

itself, but for all the additional perks that are for members only. It

isn't expensive and Roger sometimes offers " two for one " memberships

so you can have your own buddy. I wouldn't be where I am today if I

had tried to do it on my own. There is so much conflicting information

out there and Roger's been through it all. What caught my attention

was that he was describing the usual high-fat raw food diet with raw

grains on one page of his site. I know that grains have to be

thoroughly cooked to be digestible so I was thinking, " Yeah, yeah,

yeah. Another one of these... " and then he said, " I don't eat that way

any more. " That made me sit up and take notice. After my third child

was born, I went on the Weimar 80-10-10 cooked diet and lost weight

and this is the closest to that of any of the raw food diets. I knew

it would work if I gave it a chance. I did and it did!
