Guest guest
Hi Taevia, Thank you for your detailed response. I went looking for dried peas for sprouting at my local food co-op today, and all I could find were peas for planting. Boy, were they expensive! $2.70 for a small packet of pea " seeds " ! There were maybe 15-30 peas in the bag. If you don't mind me asking, where do you get your peas for sprouting? Love and light, Jennifer _____ rawfood [rawfood ] On Behalf Of T. M. I've heard of people saying that you can oversoak a sprout. I cannot speak to that as I've always soaked my sprouts 12 to 24 hours and never had any issues. Guest guest
Not a problem Jennifer, I spent alot of time looking over sprout places. I ordered from Rita at the Sprouthouse www.sprouthouse.com Her prices are very good, $2.85 for a pound of pea seeds, and the quality is very good. The sprouts are some of the cleanest I've seen. Her customer service is very nice too. I forgot to put something on my order and it was absolutely no problem for her to add them on. Very quick responses to email! Hope that helps!
