Guest guest
Sorry, Lisa, I just realized I hadn't said anything about the trays. I have 20 with mine and hardly ever (if ever) use that many. I got a sheet for things (like crackers or leather) that I can't put on the trays. Mostly, I use my dehydrator to warm things which doesn't take more than one tray. If I make stuffed mushrooms, I cut the recipe down (they are very rich) and don't make more than what one tray will hold unless I'm going to take them to a dinner and share a lot. One more thing--if the Nesco's fan, etc., is in the " lid " assembly, it would cut down on its usefulness. Guest guest
If I may add a suggestion A long time ago I was looking at the excalubur but because of my money situation at that time I did not want to spend the money. Somebody on the net suggested to buy at walmart the " American Harvest " dehydrator as they had it for years. Well I bought it for a fraction of the excalibur price. The temperature control (the absolute most important feature) works great. You might want to take a look at it. I think I paid $50. for it and have used it for 5-7 years now. no tray rotation either.
