Guest guest
I have seen several posts about flax crackers. Would some one explain how to make them? Obviously, I am very new to eating raw. I would say so new I am green, but the pun would just be.... cheesy. I had been toying around with the idea of eat raw for a while now and recently decided to go for it. The steamer I ordered arrived yesterday, and I have always had a dehydrator and a variety of blenders.... Hopefully that will get me started. So, on to the flax crackers please. Guest guest
My favourite recipe: Grind 2 cups of golden flax seed in a blender. Put aside. i cup of spinach finely cut 1 cup of cilantro cut up. 2 cups of broccoli put through a food processor, 2 cups of celery through food processor 3 carrots put through a blender 1 cup of sun dried tomatoes put through a blender to turn it into a powder some herbs or spices if you want to give it a little kick. Grind up a small pepper or springle some cayenne on it. Ever so little. Mix the whole thing together in a big bowl, put some pure filtered water on it until it has the consistency to spread it out on your teflex covered trays. Then springle ever so little fine celtic sea salt over it. Put the temp on 108F and let it go for 5 hours and then when ready to peel the teflex off and continue until ready. I like some really thick but you might want to make your crackers really thin.
