Jennifer,

I agree with you, I don't really like salads either, to me I feel like a

rabbit, don't like carrots either. I have the hardest time staying raw because

I am not home long enough to prepare anything to eat most days I'm gone from

home 12 or more hours. I was juicing greens every morning and preparing in the

evening foods for 2-3 days and had no life. I wanted very much to stay raw. I

find you have to take it one step and one day at a time. You can do it, let me

be your partner, together we can get over this hump.

First, what type of utensils do you have in your kitchen to help you prepare

raw foods? This information will help in getting you recipes that are easy to

make with what you have. Telling you about easy flax seed crackers won't help

if you don't have a dehydrator and so on.

There are a lot of recipes out there, what are some of your favorite foods

that you enjoy cooked? There might be simple ideas to make them similar raw.

Example, I love spaghetti, I can prepare it raw in less than 10 minutes,

fresh...can't do that on the stove...I make salsa and guacamole every 3 to 4

days, if you have or can do flax crackers make extra enough to last 4-6 days

they go good together. If you have a food processor, pate's are great, I can

give you recipes for 4-5 different ones they go good with salads. Do you like

asparagus; they are in season, how about a garlic sesame sauce over it with your

pate and a small salad with salsa on the side.

If you want a partner, we can map out our meals for the week and prepare only

essentials daily...Help me to help me to help you to help you...Think about

it...WE CAN DO IT...wanna try?

Hi Allison,

I have a food processor, a blender, and a really cheap dehydrator

that I bought off of e-bay for $10. It doesn't have a temperature

control and the layers are so small...I don't have any " teflex " or

same paper that fits the circular layers. But from things I've

heard on this group, it's better to not dehydrate? Is that right?

(aside from the fact that it takes much planning).

I loved almost all foods...meats and mashed potatoes and pizza and

chips and subs...pretty much anything that's not good for you.

I've actually never tried asparagus! Can you eat it raw?

I definitely would like a partner! You can join in too Leah:) I'll

send you a message privately.
