Various veggies are cut up and soaked overnight in a marinade of Braggs, water, and spices. They are then to be dehydrated at 105 for 24 hours. My question is, why are these dehydrated rather than just eaten after they are marinated? Also, when you're dehydrating veggie patties, what is the desired 'texture' that you want to acheive? Can they be eaten without dehydrating? TIA Val I would avoid Braggs, as it contains MSG. Judy

Guest guest
There shouldn't be any problem eating them raw after they are soaked .. although I haven't tried them personally. After dehydrating, food items last longer ! It's dried fruit vs fresh fruit. Fresh fruit will last for a week or two while dried fruit will last for months. Cheers, - Hemant.
