Guest guest
This is from the Fluoride Action Network: High levels of naturally occurring fluoride causes a crippling bone disease known as skeletal fluorosis. Skeletal fluorosis, in its extreme form, currently affects millions of people living in India, China, and other poorer countries where nutritional deficiencies (e.g. lack of calcium) exacerbate fluoride's toxic effects. and from Dr. Mercola's site: Sodium fluosilicate was identified as being a natural constituent of so-called " mineral waters " in 1906. It has also been identified as the source of the " naturally occurring fluoride " available in many of the communities which do not " adjust " their water to 1 ppm of fluoride. However, being " natural " does not mean free of toxic effects. Much natural fluoridated water also carries radionuclides. There is substantial evidence that chronic ingestion of " natural " fluoride may be as harmful as chronic ingestion of the industrial by-product silicofluorides used to adjust potable water to 1 ppm of fluoride. Trinity Springs has 4ppm, btw. Oh, and sorry I didn't trim last post. Yeeps! Laura K.
