Guest guest
http://www.indiangyan.com/books/healthbooks/food_that_heal/home5.shtml advises to sprout seeds, but not nuts this seems to basically agree with Elchanan in msg #15009 i prefer the taste of nuts, as they are. do most people eat them sprouted or unsprouted also - is there a standard for " raw " - specifically, how does one know if a " raw " nut hasn't been boiled to remove the shell: get to the supplier and ask? go the route of organic, still-in-the-shell nuts? -------- is there a site or book/published data that compares the nutrient value of unsprouted seeds vs sprouted seeds (almost every site I've come across touts the substantial increase, but provide no data [i _want_ to believe it ;-) - seems to make sense - but would like to make sure I'm on the right track)? such as http://www.goraw.com/faqs/index.html http://www.living-foods.com/articles/sprouts.html and so many more --------- it seems a substantial part of this is learning, time, and trial and error.... thank you, lance
