Hi everyone

I have only been testing out raw foods for about a week now and concocted a

nice snack/dessert that I really enjoy and takes minutes to prepare. I am

sure most of you have made something similar but I thought I'd share in case

there are other newbies out there looking for ideas

Almond Banana Dessert

Slice a banana in half and put on a plate, drizzle almond butter on both

pieces, then drizzle a little agave nectar or honey. Sprinkle with raw dried

coconut (optional). :)

I find this curbs my cravings for sweet chocolatey desserts!

Here is another one of my recipes:

Balsamic Fig Dressing

Soak 2 dried figs for about an hour (if you have less time it's ok)

In a small blender, add figs, 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup of olive

oil, 2 tsp of nutritional yeast and agave nectar or honey to taste. Blend

until smooth. Use as veggie dip or salad dressing.

Another AMAZING quick dessert or treat is:

1/2 Date (I like the Bahri, but you can use any)

Dip in Almond butter

Put a raw Macadameia nut on top.

Yum Yum! It is a fabulous treat or dessert option.

eat as one group!
