Re: Flax seed facts!?

I am noticing the debate on flax seed and found myself conjuring up a question

for the group.

1) Shouldn't we as humans eat things in it's natural state the way the universe

has intended what is wrong wth eating just the flax SEEDS?

Please help me to understand!

Hi Samona,

I've missed most of the " debate " on flax seeds, as I've been out of town and

have had to delete many emails due to time constraints. But I am aware that for

every person that says flax is a good thing, there is another who says it's

poison. This seems to be the case with most foods discussed in the raw

community. I personally eat just the flax seeds; I usually eat them ground, as I

believe they are assimilated better that way. When I eat the whole flax seeds, I

see them pass out of my body the same way they went in - that is, whole. I think

they are just too small to be properly chewed up. I wouldn't say I eat them

everyday, but I do sprinkle them on salads occasionally, and they taste good to

me this way.

So I would say, indeed no! There is nothing wrong at all with eating foods as

the Universe has presented us with them. In fact, I believe this is the best way

to eat :)

Blessings and good health to you and all,

Christine
