Please come and join us for our 2nd meditation class in this series.

" Clear Sky Mind " is the name of a four week series of classes being taught

by Jeff Goin of the Vajrarupini Buddhist Center.In these classes we will

learn meditation techniques through which we can experience the clarity of

our mind, control how we percieve different situations and thus enjoy

peaceful, harmonius relationships with those around us.

 

Jeff Goin is a resident and student at the Vajrarupini Buddhist Center and

is a direct disciple of Ven Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.Prior to becoming a

Buddhism teacher he worked as a bicycle messenger in Washington DC and was

an environmental activist in Missoula, Montana.Students say they appreciate

his sense of humour and his clear and practical presentation of Dharma.

 

There is a $10 suggested donation for this class but no one will be turned

SAT 1ST OCTOBER 11AM TO 5PM - RAW FOOD FESTIVAL AT THE LIVING TEMPLE

 

Already confirmed for this event are Raw Food Culinary Artisans Nadia &

Jared from Huntington Beach who will be preparing some amazing raw food

creations for your sensory delight and we will also be having some wonderful

fresh pesticide free produce from Barry Koral including fresh figs,

sapote's, avocado's plus a whole lot more.

The Living Temple will also have many tasty raw and vegan foods for you to

sample including a new Raw Agave Nectar which is the only one to be tested &

certified low glycemic and safe for diabetics as well as a new Raw Cacao /

Raw Chocolate from Peru which is grown close to Machu Pichu and along with a

high mineral content has a very high energy vibration as well.

 

This is a great opportunity to introduce new people to the raw foods diet &

lifestyle with plenty of delicious raw / vegan samples to try as well as

being able to purchase tasty munchies to take home with you.It is also the

perfect venue to network & socialize with other like minded & enlightened

This is one of the premiere health expo's in southern California and along

with some great speakers like Neal Barnard and Colin Campbell there is also
