anyone who's struggled with food from a young age would probably find

overeaters anonymous helpful, have you tried it? i don't go much

anymore as i don't really belong there from a struggling with weight

standpoint. although i do believe cooked food is an addiction for me.

your pattern there with your husband sounds like a lot of women who

have followed your eating patterns.

i eat raw nuts and avocados and extra bananas and dates at night,

when i need it the most for emotional support, the anger just builds

to a crescendo by evening and since it doesn't affect me to eat that

way i have been for now until i get more used to the diet. i eat all

the light, airy produce during the day and usually save the " hard

stuff " for the evening. but that's as wicked as i get is raw nuts.

the daytime fare would be all the fruits, i like watermelon, peaches,

plums, pineapple, melon, etc. and vegetables like broccoli, carrots,

celery, spinach, lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, etc.

> food has always been my drug of choice. started when I was young

dealing with being sexually abused. I was too active for it to make a

difference that I was eating so much junk food. It caught up with me.

by then I was married to an alcoholic. many years of verbal and

sometimes physical abuse kept me turning to food. by the time he got

sober and our marriage was restored I was addicted- the habit was

formed. I still struggle with night time junk food eating. I can make

it all day then give in at night. eating the way I do during the day

keeps me from gaining but eating the way I do at night keeps me from

losing.
