Guest guest
i don't think so, i don't eat anything frozen, it wouldn't be truly raw for me. although i think the important thing for me is to stay vegan so even if i ate a frozen or boiled vegetable i don't think it would send me into total relapse cooked. but it would disturb me and why disturb my clear outlook raw? there's no point to freezing food, it affects the nutritional value of the food adversely, it's like the counterpart to cooked, something that's okay for a cooked eater but i don't think a raw eater would be comfortable with it or advocate it. the guy who leads www.fruitbreath would have some insightful things to say about it, if you want to take your question over there. bottom line is, i don't see anything seriously wrong with freezing, i guess it's not as bad as cooking, but i don't eat anything frozen, i don't want to naturally. it's not a struggle to stay away from frozen foods, i don't want them that way. rich > Hi. I was wanting to know what people thought. I have read some > different peoples opinions about smoothies & I was wanting to do know > is frozen fruit considered a raw food? I have read somewhere that the > freezing takes out the enzymes & maybe the nutrients out of it. Other > people seem ok with the fact that the fruit is frozen. Any Ideas?
