Guest guest
i know it's not all about me, but it makes for interesting reading doesn't it? there's nothing better than hearing someone's story, we do it in aa all the time and it's the best meetings. when someone gets up there and gives a half-hour to an hour share about there life, we call it, " what it was like, what happened and what it's like now. " these are the most touching talks to the human heart, when another human shares honestly about where they've been, what they've done and who they are in an intimate, sincere, spiritual, healing way. nothing is more interesting to the human ear than for someone to talk about who they are. that's where love grows the greatest among humans and where love is, there is god, and there is joy. all the facts and knowledge about things in the world doesn't impress people as much as hearing about who somebody is. why do you think so many people are addicted to soap operas? and shows like that, where people reveal themselves and who they are. for the humanity adept, talk shows, biographies and such are more interesting than sitcoms where everything is rehearsed and staged. pre-tub i was a sitcom addict, post-tub i've learned how to take an interest in people. sometimes a little too much, i was banned from an overeaters anonymous meeting for making a pass at a woman when we went somewhere together at the beginning of the summer, that was the main feature in my alcohol relapse. my attempt came to nothing sexually and i hadn't been back to that meeting since, but when i showed up there yesterday, the leader condemned me in front of the whole group, even saying things that weren't true at all about the incident and asked me to leave. i went quietly, just asking if this was for the tuesday and thursday meetings at the same location and they said just the tuesday, they don't know about the thursday. well, have a nice day everyone, sorry to go on for so long, like they say on PTI i'll try to do better next time. peace out. i'll talk about someone else next time. as far as the pass is concerned, it was somewhat her fault for all the things she said to me on the train ride to where we were going, relationship and sexually wise. i had just gone through a mind bender with another woman that same day and i was just overly susceptible to lust and after the things this girl said to me on the train, i just had to make an attempt. well, i'll live and learn, hopefully i won't have any more lust in my life. www.rawfoodeaters
