Guest guest
Bob: Most rawfoooders I know get chlorine filters for their showers and drinking water so yes they do not swim in chlorine or now (bromine) pools. Ozone systems are used in hot tubs but I am not sure ozone is very safe long term. You may want to contact Loren Lockman as he had an ozone system in Maryland. Natural hot springs are popular and lake or ocean swimming. I have heard of salt water or ionized pools but the two locally also use chemicals - reportedly because the patrons do not understand that salt water alone is safe and they want that chemical smell. Unfortunately like the new car smell as toxic as it is people like and want it. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Thanks, Bill.. I'd gotten another lead, and contacted somewhere out in Calif. and found: pool info from Harbinger -in California: 8/1/2005 they use peroxide, UV lights, and ozone all expensive, and said that the pool would need something. sooo...I checked on prices of these systems, and yes, they're expensive. like minimum $3,500 for just the ozone, and then the others are all adders. yes, use filter on shower, and use distiller water. thanks again, Bob rawfood , wMilmoe@a... wrote: > Bob: > > Most rawfoooders I know get chlorine filters for their showers and drinking > water so yes they do not swim in chlorine or now (bromine) pools.
