Guest guest
Paul--there is a big difference. You very often have to WORK the ingredients in even the highest-powered blender to get them to blend, especially if you aren't adding a lot of liquid. You can fill the VitaMix to the top with vegetables, for example, and if you've added a little bit of lemon juice, water or broth, you use the pusher through a hole in the top of the lid to shove it all down gently--and voila!--in a about 3-4 seconds, the whole blenderful is blended. It's a blast to use, and I don't know how I ever did without it! I held off for over a year after hearing about it and finally bit the bullet. Now it's the only thing I use, and I use it sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. It's just SO much more powerful and works VERY fast. I also love that you don't have to take it apart to wash it...the blade remains inside until you need to replace it. Susan
Guest guest
Is there really that big of a difference between a vitamix and a regular high-quality blender? Thanks, Paul
