I am so excited! Having lived and worked at the Tree of Life Community for

over five years I have seen my life transform on a very deep level. I love

watching beautiful people around me blossom, flourish and be nourished on a

deep level. Admittedly living in a spiritual community such as this one can

at times be an intense experience… a fire of transformation.

 

The Tree of Life Center is always in a state of organic evolution and

growth. Today we are looking for your assistance. We are looking for new

community members who are willing to serve and commit to whatever it takes

to take the center to the highest level of inspiration.

 

The Tree Of Life is a busy holistic vegan retreat center led by Dr. Gabriel

Cousens, author of Conscious Eating and Spiritual Nutrition. Working and

living at TOL includes 100%live food meals, spiritual evening programs, hot

tubs and sauna provided daily, in addition to a service orientated modest

salary. Staff members *may* be offered housing for the first two weeks of

their stay after which staff need to rent housing in the town of Patagonia.

Skills Required: Sales experience, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and

computer skills, superior customer service skills, patience, sincere desire

to work with a team. Salary $1400/ month

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

 

1) BA/ BS in accounting with 5 years progressive work experience including

supervising skills (significant work experience may substitute for an

accounting degree).

2) Self-starter able to work independently.

3) Knowledge and experience in researching accounting problems and providing

solutions.

4) Exposure to analytical projects and traditional accounting activities

such as financial reporting and auditing.

5) Strong computer skills, including accounting software, Excel, Word etc.

QuickBooks a plus.

6) Strong focus on detail, accuracy and organization.

7) Ability to collaborate with others and communicate effectively.

 

Responsibilities

 

a) Supervise day-to-day activities of bookkeepers.

b) Interface with retail store and dispensary regarding POS and inventory

control

c) Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

d) Cash Forecasting

e) Accurate and timely reporting of financial information

f) Sales tax reporting
