Maybe start around 3/14 and 3/16 and read forward from there (both of those dates have fasting info...) try post 14752 also... also, Dr. H.M. Shelton (who supervised over 40,000 fasts!) wrote a great book called " Fasting for Renewal of Life " . and, if you've twisted your knee, resting it in general would be grand: give it a chance to heal. I recommend reading up on fasting before plunging that way. Thanks Bob - for the advice - and I think I will try a fast - I have read so much info on fasting and preparation and also the best ways of finishing one so I need to find the right time to do it. I got my knee checked out today at the hospital and was told it is soft tissue damage and no bones or ligaments are affected so that is good news to me, I thought I had better check on it to see what was really the matter and thank God an XRAY was not suggested. Painkillers were, of course but I will pass on those! Love to all Lynne
