Oh, by the way, the information below reflect Dr. Doug Graham's original

work, not mine. Doug is one of only a tiny handful of RF teachers who work

with professional athletes on an ongoing basis. His knowledge in this area

is superb,

[Rawschool] Eating enough - physical activity.

Hi ,

I am an aerobic teacher, like you were, Nora. I have classes like 4-5

times a week. I cycle a lot witch takes a lot of energy. I find it

much easier to keep raw when I have vacation and my physical level is

less energetic. I can't stop working but I like to combine Raw food

and high physical level. How do I do that?

Greetings from

Hi Nurmala,

Adopt the habit of eating a fairly large meal of sweet fruit (e.g., bananas)

within an hour following such intense activity. Your body will replenish

your glycogen reserves and other nutrients at an accelerated rate. This was

the subject of massive research at the University of Florida, years ago,

that led to the creation of Gatorade (Florida Gators).

Also, for a sports drink, blend, say, one banana and perhaps part or all of

one rib of celery in water, put that in your water bottle. If you try these

and perhaps a few other little things, you should be able to go 7 days a

week, pain-free and at full intensity, within a very short time (assuming

you are already 100% raw and eating a high-fruit, high-water-content diet

with plenty of tender leafy greens and few high-fat foods (e.g., avocado).
