Raw Camping Foods

My girlfriend went camping in the desert where the temp can well above 110.

We found that sprouting in sprout bags worked really well. We had about a

dozen sprout bags and hung them around the tent. As long as we rinsed them

3-4 times per day the evaporation kept them cool enough. They did really

well and is was great having fresh sprouts all time. Very dense living

nutrition.

Don't recommend dry fruit and nuts as the basic food of a camping trip,

unless you don't mind overstressing your colon and being constipated for

your entire outdoor excursion.

If you really want to make it easier in the fruit and nut foods for camping,

try the following:

1. Soak (The fruit and the nuts and seeds)

2. Sprout (So that the proteins restructure to simpler

amino acids)

3. Blend (So that cellular nutrition is made completely

available)

4. Make into bars (Mix different fruit and nut combos)

5. Dehydrate (For portability)

6. Vacuum Pack (For maximum flavor and nutrition life)

your colon and campmates will thank you.

(I can not over emphasis how important vacuum packing is to prevent

oxidation breakdown of dehydrated food.)
