The bad news is that it looks like the trip is going from 1 week to a

week and a half as Kris is having Lasik surgery (rolls eyes) on the

25th of august.

PLEASE ask Kris to look at Bates' book before he has that eye surgery.

 

Picture an egg. As long as the shell is intact, it remains incredibly

strong. Most people cannot hold an egg in their bare hand and crack it open.

But introduce even the tiniest crack into that shell, and the entire

structure becomes fragile. Then, almost anyone can crack the egg in their

bare hand.

 

These surgeries have much the same effect on the structure of the eyeball as

cracking the shell does on the egg. the structure of the eyeball is never as

strong after as before. There are ZERO long-term studies on the safety of

this procedure. The only long-term study on its predecessor, radial

keratotomy, was done in Japan and not widely circulated in the US. But

results were disastrous. Over the years, people experienced horrendous

things, far worse than any partial loss of sight.

 

Furthermore, Bates' work really works!! Kris can completely correct his

vision is he wishes to do so without any medical procedure whatsoever, and

in ways that strengthen rather than weaken both the structure and the

functional efficacy of his eyes.
