Well, elderberries are a bit bigger than

a pot seed but not by much.

Now Mulberies I had never tried before

either until we moved to Oregon.

Our last house had two huge mulberry trees

in the backyard. It is like a regular tree and

the berries look like blackberries, but lack

the tangy-sour-sweet flavor. I always found

mulberries to be rather bland in comparison,

but they sure do stain clothes and skin!

My son would look so funny when he'd climb

those trees to eat the berries.

I had a friend who would come picking them

to make jam and a few times I stirred some

mulberries into my scones and that was yummy.
