Guest guest Posted August 3, 2006 Report Share Posted August 3, 2006 I am seldom if ever sick and never have 'intestinal' problems after eating anything..However a couple of years ago I ate some out dated Tofu and I suffered for it. Major intestinal upset. I had not noticed the pull date on the tofu until it was too late. Now I not only reach for the freshest but I make sure the seal is tight and the tofu has a fresh odor. If I have leftover uncooked, which I seldom do now, I cover it with salt water and store it in the fridge . If unused in 2 days it is tossed. That seldom happens because I now cook all of the pkg. and then store it . My rule is with any prepared recipe. If it isn't eaten in 3 days toss it. I hate to waste food so I try to plan meals with only one day of left overs. It is not worth getting sick from eating food that is spoiled.
