Guest guest
Boy oh boy those little gherkins and green onions were sure good in my salad today. In a couple of weeks our local green chilis will be ready. We hear it is a good year for chili as the weather has been so hot. We buy the chili roasted and freeze them in individual packages to use later in the year. We use them to make green chili and salsa. If anyone is interested in a good green chili recipe to top enchiladas let me know. Naturally Vegetarian. We can whole and sliced Jalapenos to use when we make Nachos and dips. I will make Jalapeno Jelly in the next few weeks and if you haven't tried it you are missing a special taste treat. I topped a veggie burger with the jelly today and it was so yummy. My daughter tops a cracker with cream cheese and Jalapeno jelly. Is there such a thing as a good fake cream cheese? Maybe I'll just use Vegenasie..I eat it on everything else..LOL Deanna
Guest guest
The tofutti cream cheese was pretty good, good taste & melted well on a warm bagel. Don't freeze it tho' - nasty.
