tomato hornworms

first pick off the hornworms ( I put the ones from my plants on weeds out in the

field)

then mix a couple tblspoons of cayenne in 1 cup white flour,

sprinkle mixture over tomato, pepper and any other plants the hornworms are

eating.

ran out of cayenne and used just flour on one plant and so far no more

hornworms.

don't remember where I learned this but it works great.

hummmmmm... good to know. Did it wash away with the first rain and did it make

it look all white? thanks.

rain ?? what's that ?? oh, yeah, I remember, drops of water falling from the

sky. LOL

I wish, we need rain here. would need to redo if it rained. sprinkling by hand

I had lots of flour on some leaves and little on others so tried using a tea

strainer to dust the plants which worked fine. now if they'll just hurry up and

ripen !!!!

that is ironic, I don't remember a summer with as much rain as this year, LOL,

wish I could bottle it and send some of it to you!

I wish, we need rain here. would need to redo if it rained. sprinkling by hand
