Guest guest
Thanks Marilyn! Can you tell me- does the pot sit on the shelf with the bread or on the shelf below it?? I have read about spraying water on your loaf of bread to make it crusty during baking- but am leery of that as i wouldn't want to have anything crack or be affected by water being sprayed..... if you know what I mean.....so I like the sound of this MUCH better. Thanks again for the helpful hint. Guest guest
I set the container of water below the bread and it works fine. I don't think I would spray water into a hot oven, but it would probably work. It is the moisture of the water/steam that gives the harder crust.
