OT -Chanda/Philly

Chanda,

I was born and raised in Lancaster County, moved to Philly 9 years ago for my

job. I sure miss the country however I enjoy the business of the city and

having so much available. There is so much fresh produce available albeit

expensive. I especially enjoy shopping at all the Asian/Russian supermarkets in

NE Philly where I can buy and try new things. Philly is one huge melting pot!

wow, I would love to live in Lancaster! (for everyone who doesn't know

Pennsylvania that is where the Amish people live) it is beautiful country.

Anyway, yes, I go to the Russian market at Bell's corner, they have my green

tea, and the challah bread is ta die for!

 

I also go to Harry's market on Cottman Avenue. it is a " health food store " they

have tings that whole foods does. I like to buy at Harry's first, before whole

foods because I like to help the little guy. Things like nutritional yeast

flakes, granola, their spices are dirt cheap and really high quality too.
