Guest guest
Yes, it really does set up; no eggs required and I wouldn't really want to include any raw eggs since this doesn't get cooked. There is something about the lemon juice that reacts with the milk and causes it to set. The whipped topping is just to make it lighter and less dense or overly sweet. It is yummy. I also make a cream cheese-like pie with 8 oz. cream cheese, one can sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice [about 1/4 cup], and a dash of vanilla extract. Blend it all together, pour into a graham cracker crust to chill and set up. After about 2 hours of chillin', you just open a can of cherry, blueberry, peach, or whatever pie filling you like best or are in the mood for. Spread it evenly on top of the cheese-pie and chill an hour more. So cool and rich! But I do warn you: very addicting! *lol* ~ PT ~ The more man reflects on good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large. ~ Confucius (551-479 BC) ~~~*~~~*~~~> , " greatyoga " <greatyoga wrote: > > PT > > Will this just set up by itself?
