Hey, PT, how do you eat gooseberries? I bought some last week on a

lark. I'd never seen them before and I'd heard about them and my store

had them on sale. But they weren't a hit at this house and most went to

waste.

As children we used to eat them raw straight off the bush. I was told

that I was discovered under the gooseberry bush at the bottom of the

garden so I always felt an affinity with them. I think they are best

lightly stewed and then baked with a crumble topping.
