Tequila Tempeh

8 oz. tempeh

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup tequila

1/4 cup rice vinegar

2T lime or lemon juice

1 Tbl ground red chilies (I use a tsp.)

1/2 tsp salt

2 cloves garlic minced

Cut tempeh into thin cubes and marinate in above

marinade for

at least 2 hours(longer imparts more flavor)

Skewer and grill with veggies over hot grill or saute

lightly

in oil until golden brown.

Serves 3.

This I've got to try.

I'm not real keen on tempeh

but fixed certain ways it's not bad.

I like the faux chick salad recipe in

the files.
