-Maddie, I simmer until soft 3 cups of broccoli tops and peeled

stems in just enough water to cover. Mash with an old time potato

masher. The mix should not be whipped and only mashed so that pieces

of potato and broccoli are reconizable. Makes for a prettier green

and white dish. I then stir in apx. 2 tablespoons of Vegenaise and

season with sea salt. Makes a very pretty side dish. Good on toast or

even cold on a sandwich.
