I love this bread, it freezes too, I like the way it look when you slice through the figs, it's almost a paisley bread, keep the figs in large pieces. Don't forget we have a whole folder set up with fig recipes in the recipe section. Hey, I have another recipe for you, this bread has a combo of figs and dates. I'll try to post it today! Figs are a comfort to me. I will always remember eating figs with my Grandpa, he lived to be 97 and when he was in the hospital and it was his time he said get that IV out of my arm, I want Donna to come and feed me figs..........did I ever have a hard time finding them but I did.
