Guest guest
Since I've been making tortillas for just under 50 years, I just patta patta pat by hand, Since samosa's seem similar, how about just using a tortilla press to form the dough for the samosa? Not the electric ones that press and cook the tortialls, etc, but the old fashioned put the dough between two pieces of plastic wrap, put them in the press and squish. Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail Beta.
Guest guest
I've never made tortillas or used a press so your guess is as good as mine. Since ww flour has gluten, I was wondering if they would stick to the press. Try it and let us know. Guest guest
If one puts the dough between two pieces of waxed paper or plastic wrap, it peels off easily. There are 8 inch presses and 10 inch presses, but being an old peasant, I just use my nands. The cheapest I have found a manual press is 14.95. greatyoga <greatyoga wrote: I've never made tortillas or used a press so your guess is as good as mine.
