When I drink to much apple juice I experience this. It may be something that

you are eating or drinking, that you need to eat/drink in smaller quantities. I

still drink apple juice sometimes, but dilute it with 1/4 water.

Also veggies/fruit/grain digest much more quickly than meat and will be

eliminated much sooner. Eat foods that are high in fiber and you'll feel

fuller. Oatmeal, nuts, homemade hearty wheat breads, fresh veggies and fruit,

etc are all great. I enjoy granola, cream of wheat and hot oatmeal with trail

mix on top in my bowl. We love all kinds of soups and eat them year around.

Lots of good veggies and some good cornbread muffins or small oyster crackers.

We also love bean stacks. On your plate layer hot rice, beans, cheese, diced

tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and salsa(optional). Sloppy Joes made with Heinz

Sloppy Joe Sauce, browned Vegetarian Burger with onions and bellpepers sauted.

Serve on WW Hamburger Buns. Just a few ideas of some hearty meals.

Frogs, Lizards & Snakes..Oh My!..LOL

I have a couple of question about being a vegetarian. As you

all know I just started out on the new path.

Is it normal at first to feel sometimes like your starvin'?

I feel like I'm not gettin' enough. Perhaps I'm not eatin' enough.

Also, my stomach has been makin' gurgglin' sounds that lead to

bathroom trips (if you know what I mean).

I figure maybe it's because my body is slowly flushin' away

all the meat products and impurities out. Is that what it is?

Because otherwise I've been feelin' healthier day-by-day.

Thank you again for listen to me rabble..LOL

God Bless!

Jen

i have heard that foods you prepare slowly (eg. simmers over a longer

period at small temperature), fills you better. :-) obviously, nutrition

elements are preserved better then????

but, it's contrary, veggies take longer in the digestion , not meat!!
