Guest guest
These are really yummy. I know a member shared a recipe very much like this here recently, and in their directions they flattened them with a fork. This recipe I have used calls for leaving them in round bites. Either way you do it, they are delicious. Cheese Crisps 1 cup margarine, softened 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 cups (8oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese 3 cups crisp rice cereal In a mixing bowl, cream the margarine until fluffy. Slowly mix in the flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir in cheese and cereal. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes or until slightly browned. Serve warm or cold.
