Guest guest
Do you have a Latin market in your area? Even the grocery store will have dried hibiscus. The Spanish word is " jamaica " and all you have to do is place the dried hibiscus in boiling water and then proceed with the recipe. Most people aren't familiar with it so you need to look in the cello packets that hang in racks with the spices, any market selling Latin products should have it. So instead I used Lemon Zinger with lemonade concentrate and a sliced orange. Very good tea! When I find some hibiscus tea, I'll try the original blend. Guest guest
Yes, San Francisco definitely has Latin markets. In fact, that's where I get Zote that I sometimes use in my laundry soap. But doesn't " hibiscus tea " sound like it should be generally available? ;-) Next time I go over that way I'll pick some up.
