Guest guest
Hi GB thank you. Yes the 90% and higher rating was wonderful, we knew the recipes would be good and it was so hard picking them out, so many to choose from. Niether AJ or I used our recipes, we wanted it to be a project for the children but also to promote the recipes of the members. AJ and I have been friends for years. I live about 5 minutes from her.Right now I am babysitting for her 3 little ones because she had an appointment. The cost was a little high but we did have so much food. We asked every family to donate 5 dollars or what they could afford and the other eaters (teachers and friends) gave what they could. The final cost of the project was $600.00 we split the difference. It was all worth it in the end, the kids proved they can do something that the families can be happy about. That they can be open to something new, and that fast food is not cheaper then cooking it yourself. The most important thing that everyone learned was when you pull together you can do anything. Jack Well done!!! All the recipes got a 90% or better rating. That says a lot about the openness of the children and if you expose them to good tasting healthy recipes, then they may change their diet. Also it is a tribute to the quality of the recipes the groups' members send in. Do you and AJ live near each other? Did you also provide the food for them to eat? It must have been a fairly expensive project. Thanks for doing it. Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. Guest guest
Jack and AJ I'm sure it was rewarding for both you and the families who shared with you. I'm sure there is no shortage of good food between yours and AJ's households Keep up the good work GB , jack foxx <canadabuyer72 wrote: > > Hi GB thank you. > > Yes the 90% and higher rating was wonderful, we knew the recipes would be good and it was so hard picking them out, so many to choose from.
