Six spoons up for these! The carnivore son came over for dinner and since he was

jonesing for liver and onions (I know, I know, but he's been on a river trek for

a month and his wife doesn't cook unless it is something ready made). Since I

had to have something I could eat that would go with the liver and onions, I

made these two recipes which were posted here Sunday. REALLY good. Since I

peeled and froze the bushel plus of sweet potatoes that had been given us, I

just nuked them in a bowl in the microwave then squished up with the rest of the

ingredients,cooked, yum. Big yum. So was the rice. So easy, toss in the rice

cooker and away it went. Enough rice leftover for my brekkies.

 

Since the house smelled like........ well, fried liver and onions, I got the

nice house smelly thing from the files and put it in the potpourri pot in the

kitchen. The cats liked it too....wierd cats. REALLY wierd cats.

 

Tonight I'm doing the barley and mushroom dish.
