Guest guest Posted July 3, 2006 Report Share Posted July 3, 2006 Best Grilling Basting Sauce for Vegetables 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, diced 1/3 cup chopped shallots or onions minced 1 pressed garlic clove 1/4 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel some dried red pepper flakes Combine all ingredients in heavy medium saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until butter melts and sauce is well blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Messenger with Voice.
