Guest guest Posted June 30, 2006 Report Share Posted June 30, 2006 Cauliflower with Crumbs and Shallots 1 whole head 7 to 8 inch cauliflower 4 tablespoons butter 3 tablespoons chopped shallots 1 cup fresh bread crumbs Trim the cauliflower and hollow out the core. Blanch until just tender; drain well. Heat butter until it is practically brown. Stir in the shallots and bread crumbs, and cook until the crumbs are brown. Pat mixture evenly all over top of the cauliflower. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cauliflower is hot. Serves 6 to 8.
