Guest guest
As far as safe areas, there is the suburb Westlake about 20 minutes west from downtown Cleveland. There are several new shops and restaurants around an area called Crocker Park Shopping center (or something like that) there is a Trader Joes and stuff if you want to browse...There is also the Malley's factory which has a chocolate warehouse open to the public ...ok, that's not dinner. Let me think (i'll ask my parents if they have any thoughts too)...I can't think of anyplace really vegan in Cleveland-unless there's someplace new...it is the land of kielbasa and meatballs : ) I'll post again with whatever I can think of! melissa , liz damon <ranliz524 wrote: > > Hi Melissa, > Where would you recommend? We were thinking about staying somewhere at least somewhat close, within an hours drive or so. We would like to stay somewhere near a good restaurant so food would be close by, within half hour or so. We don't mind a little drive but we want to feel safe where we sleep. Not to degrade Cleveland but I know from 2 separate occasions ( once coming home from taking my brother to the airport and another with my husband) that it is REAL easy to find areas you may not want to be at night. But then again most cities are that way, I know here in Erie there are areas I won't go without my husband especialy at night. > > That is a neat idea to have your wedding reception at the zoo.
