Guest guest Posted June 26, 2006 Report Share Posted June 26, 2006 Sour Dough Spinach Bread 1 cup sour dough starter 2 cups cooked and drained fresh spinach 1 1/2 cups hot water 2 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon salt 1 cup semolina flour 2 eggs or substitute 1/4 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons yeast 3 to 5 cups natural white flour Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Place all ingredients in Bosch bowl except the white flour. Turn on machine and add more white flour until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Knead for 6 minutes. Remove from bowl divide into 2 or 3 pieces. Roll dough out into circles. Place on parchment paper and cover and let rise. After dough has risen, using fingers, make indents all over surface of bread.
