Tasty as-is, rather scone-y, great potential for filling with fruit for a real scone taste. Vegan Whole Wheat Drop Biscuits by Shelley W. 1 c whole wheat flour 1 c all-purpose flour 1 Tbs baking powder 1 tsp salt 1/4 c canola oil 3/4 c unsweetened soy milk Preheat oven to 450 (220C) Stir together dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Combine wet ingredients in a small bowl or measuring cup. Pour into dry ingredients all at once; stir just until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. It's a sticky dough. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake about 10 - 15 minutes or until browned on top and bottom.
