Guest guest Posted June 25, 2006 Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 Tasty Pumpkin Bread 15 ounce can pumpkin puree 4 eggs or egg substutite 1 cup vegetable (preferably canola) oil 2/3 cup water 3 cups sugar 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsps. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsps. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 3/4 tsp. ground cloves 1/2 tsp. ground ginger Preheat the over to 350 degrees, and grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Combine pumpkin, eggs, oil, water, and sugar in a large bowl until well blended. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining (dry) ingredients, and then slowly stir them into the pumpkin mixture. (Mix completely but don't over stir/blend the mixture.) Pour the batter evenly into two loaf pans, and bake for approximately one hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
