Guest guest
Hi All, I have spent many wonderful summer evenings enjoying this music and food. Just passing on this info in case you're in the area and want to enjoy a truly lovely evening. Peace, Diane About the Summer Concert Series: Bastyr University joins with the city of Kenmore, KBCS radio (91.3 FM) and St. Edward State Park to present the 4th Annual World Music in the Park summer concert series. All concerts are free and open to the public. Each night features different music from around the globe. Bring your blanket, lawn chair, friends and family to beautiful St. Edward State Park for eight delightful summer evenings of great live music, food and fun under the open sky. There's plenty of room to play and dance while you enjoy a variety of world pop. Great acoustics on the open stage surrounded by the park's stunning trees make the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a casual evening. Bring your own picnic, or purchase a superb vegetarian hot meal (it really is good food) right on site, offered by Bastyr's renowned whole-foods cafeteria. Deliciously affordable, the rotating menu of regional treats will be loosely inspired by each night's featured music. Talking Rain Beverage Company will be donating free beverages while supplies last, and Bastyr University bookstore and cafeteria will once again offer gift certificate door prizes. For more information, call Teri Thomas: (425) 602-3107. Rain or shine, all concerts are 6:30 – 8 p.m. on the St. Edward State Park outdoor stage.
