Use a simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water) and add the lavendar and then use that to sweeten freshly made lemonade or use lavendar in your favorite lemon sorbet recipe with either the buds or the simple syrup or just use the simple lavendar syrup in lemon drop cocktail or in a white (vanilla) cake Obviously I love lavendar and it's lavendar season here in Northern California - the fields are full of it and so are the farmers' markets!
