Guest guest
Ooooooooh hahaha How about some chocolate dipped violets? Those are so posh on a white cake. I love to eat flowers too. The rose petal sandwiches are divine too. Yes, if anyone wants to try flower recipes come and see, look through the archives, the recipes aren't in files like the vegetarian groups are. Here's the link: flower-recipe/ Now I suggest you try the lavender sweet bread or the cookies, now the tea is also good. There's the shortbread too. So many recipes and so little time, huh? Now shall we talk about sea veggies next? Hugs, Donna Rishari <Rishari wrote: LOL! I am still trying to get the Lav. cardamom shortbread recipe made from Donna!! Are you tempted by any?? I honestly think I might try making the lavender jelly! (I have a packet of pectin left over from strawberry season.) Wouldn't that be divine along side the rose petal sandwiches ? I am a flower nut from all aspects and love to eat Nasturtiums ( so peppery!) and garlic/onion flowers. I even think marigolds taste nice- but find pansies to be pretty but bland. I have eaten lilies when we had them at home in PA- but dont' have any here in my garden to try. They are bland as well- but since they are bigger have more 'crunch' to them in a salad or whatever. I joined the flower group Donna gave the link to a short while ago-but haven't had a chance to look at much there.
