Guest guest
I am always in a quandary... pick my lavender or enjoy it on the plant? I never seem to have enough... I need a whole field of it. I still might just enjoy walking through the field.... oxxoRobyn
Guest guest
LOL! I am still trying to get the Lav. cardamom shortbread recipe made from Donna!! Are you tempted by any?? I honestly think I might try making the lavender jelly! (I have a packet of pectin left over from strawberry season.) Wouldn't that be divine along side the rose petal sandwiches ? I am a flower nut from all aspects and love to eat Nasturtiums ( so peppery!) and garlic/onion flowers. I even think marigolds taste nice- but find pansies to be pretty but bland. I have eaten lilies when we had them at home in PA- but dont' have any here in my garden to try. They are bland as well- but since they are bigger have more 'crunch' to them in a salad or whatever. I joined the flower group Donna gave the link to a short while ago-but haven't had a chance to look at much there.
