Guest guest
Oh this does sound good in the middle of this unrelenting heat. Where is that rain? Is is avoiding us completely it seems. I need to try this. Blueberries are so wonderful for you. I bought some blueberry cold brew tea bags last week at a health food store. It is just yummy. I think we would love it. Is that agar agar that you have in this recipe? I have been meaning to use some flakes I have. Or is it sugar? Just thought I had better ask. Thanks for thinking of me melting away down here. BTW since this is my first time hearing about Celtic Salt before, have you found a less expensive place to find it? Donna your article was good. Thanks for sending it. Hello to the newbies, enjoy the group, I sure love time spent in here. 2.) I switched to Celtic salt after reading all the posts a few months back, it doesn't take near as much to flavor your food and it's better than Accent as a flavor enhancer. Salt lasts a long while in the cupboard, I have no problem buying it, I would rather spend my extra dollars on flavor, more than likely it would be money wasted on a bad meal out and I make many meals with my shaker of white gold. 3.) Judy I thought you might enjoy this recipe since you are in the middle of a heat wave. Chilled Blueberry Soup 1 pint fresh blueberries 1 cup orange juice 1/2 cup silken tofu 1/2 Tbl. augar 1 Tbl. light brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 Tbl. yogurt (optional) In a blender or food processor, puree the blueberries, tofu, orange juice, sugar, brown sugar and nutmeg until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and chill for at least one hour. Ladle into 4 bowls, place a teaspoon of yogurt on top and make a design by dragging a toothpick through it Sports Fantasy Football '06 - Go with the leader. Start your league today!
