Lavender Cardamom Shortbread

1 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon cardamom

1 tbsp. finely chopped lavender leaves and flowers

(I run my thru the coffee grinder)

Cream butter, sugar with mixer or food processor. Add flour, lavender and

cardamom, till just blended. Press batter into large ungreased pan.

Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. When cool, break into chunks.

In the present position of the planets

It's impossible for me to say

Just when I'll find my course again

With these boulders in my way

I should be rolling down the skyway

On my cosmic wheels

Instead of stumbling down this highway

On my boots of steel

Sneak preview the all-new .com. It's not radically different. Just

radically better.
